ASUS Eee PC 1001PX Netbook Hits Japan

The ASUS Eee PC 1001PX will be released in the Japanese market on June 23rd, 2010 for 36,800 Yen ($405). As a reminder, the 10.1-inch netbook has a 1.66GHz Intel Atom N450 CPU with a 1024 x 600 resolution LCD display, an Intel NM10 Express chipset, a 1GB of RAM, a 160GB of hard disk drive, two USB 2.0 ports, Wi-Fi 802.11 b/g and a webcam for video conference. Measuring 262mm x 178mm x 36mm and weighing 1.1Kg, the ASUS Eee PC 1001PX runs on Microsoft Windows XP Home Edition.
