HP was all set to come up with its Windows 7 touch-screen tablet. It introduced the device in CES 2010 show. Moreover, the company released a number of trailers for the product besides its specs and release dates. However, now it seems that HP has come out of this project as it found out that the Windows 7 operating system does not work well with touch-screen device.
Speculations also suggest that the computer maker would not feature Intel chip as it consumes large amount of power. So, it seems that HP would use chips produced by Qualcomm. HP may have given up the Windows 7 tablet project, but the company is believed to be working on a WebOS tablet project which could feature Google’s Chrome operating system. However, nothing is official yet as HP has not announced anything officially. Related article: pocket-lintPosted byBiplob Kishore Debat2:53 AM
